Dr. Ganesh Ramalingam graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1997 and completed his postgraduate training and fellowship with the Edinburgh Royal College of Surgeons. He is a trained general surgeon and skilled with over 20 years of training and experience.
His auxiliary specialties include bariatric surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy, obesity surgery, and trauma. He is an active member of the National Trauma Committee of Singapore.
Dr. Ganesh is currently a consultant at the G&L Surgical Clinic at Mount Elizabeth Novena Medical Center, specializing in general surgery. The hospital, which specializes in gastrointestinal and laparoscopic procedures, was founded by dr ganesh ramalingam, where he performs a variety of charitable works.
He was part of the Residency Faculty and the Proctor of the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery at Khoo Tech Puat Hospital and was involved in a one-year fellowship in Trauma at Beilinson Hospital, Rabin Medical Centre, Petach Tiqva, Israel.
This doctor has a keen interest in teaching. He is an assistant professor of general surgery at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore.

Apart from his work duties, Dr. Ganesh is also involved in voluntary humanitarian efforts in Banda Aceh after the tsunami and Jogjakarta for earthquake relief work. His future goals include spending more time volunteering for medical help and participating in foreign medical missions.
